Looking for a quiet place to eat in Canggu, away from the traffic, crowds and endless stream of cafés? Tucked away inside the beautiful grounds of United Colors of Bali, [O'zarome](https://www.baliready.com/directory/restaurants/6870794fc707d5ef9fdcd922 offers a peaceful garden setting and a unique take on French-Asian cuisine, served from breakfast through dinner.
Located in one of Canggu's oldest boutique resorts, the restaurant overlooks the resort's lush tropical garden, creating a surprisingly tranquil atmosphere just minutes from the busier parts of Canggu. The menu reflects the French roots of the owner and his love for Indonesian food, bringing together familiar Western dishes with Asian flavours and influences.
We recently visited [O'zarome](https://www.baliready.com/directory/restaurants/6870794fc707d5ef9fdcd922 to try it for ourselves, and between the homemade food, excellent French desserts and relaxed setting, it quickly became one of those places we'd happily return to.
A Hidden Gem in Canggu
Canggu has no shortage of restaurants and cafés, but finding somewhere that feels genuinely removed from the noise can be a little harder.
O'zarome is open throughout the day, from 8am to 10pm, making it suitable for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Whether you're starting the day with a relaxed breakfast or settling in for dinner, the garden setting makes it easy to escape the bustle of Canggu.
French Cuisine with an Asian Touch
The cuisine at O'zarome is best described as French-Asian fusion, combining classic Western dishes with Asian flavours while putting a strong emphasis on homemade preparation.
Freshly baked bread is prepared in-house, while many of the sauces are also made at the restaurant rather than relying on ready-made alternatives. Even the classic accompaniments: ketchup, mayonnaise and aioli are homemade and served with the fries that accompany many of the dishes.
These small details give familiar comfort food a distinctly O'zarome touch and make the meal feel more personal and carefully prepared.

Save Room for Dessert
While the savoury dishes give you plenty of reasons to visit, dessert was definitely the highlight of our meal.
We tried the chocolat fondant, the French-style chocolate dessert better known internationally as a lava cake. Rich, warm and wonderfully indulgent, it's the kind of dessert that's difficult to share once you've started eating it.
But there's another dessert you should know about.
The Secret Profiterole
O'zarome has a profiterole that isn't officially sitting on the main menu.
You can simply ask for it when you're there.
That's about as much as we're going to tell you.
Consider this your little insider tip - but don't tell anyone we told you about the secret menu!

The resort offers yoga and Pilates classes, a spa and a swimming pool. A gym day pass is also available for IDR 50,000 and includes access to the pool.
The idea is simple: start the morning with yoga or Pilates, enjoy breakfast or brunch at O’Zarome, then take some time to relax by the pool or book a spa treatment.

A Small Shop with a Bigger Purpose
Before leaving, take a look at the resort’s small souvenir shop.
What makes it particularly special is that 100% of the shop’s profits support an orphanage in Bali.
It is an opportunity to take home a small reminder of your trip while contributing to a local cause.
A Different Side of Canggu
O'zarome offers a refreshing alternative to the increasingly busy restaurant scene in Canggu.
Here, the focus is on good homemade food, French-inspired desserts and a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by greenery.
Whether you come for breakfast, a leisurely lunch, dinner or simply a dessert and coffee, the setting makes it easy to slow down and enjoy the moment.
And if you want to turn your visit into a longer wellness experience, the yoga, spa, gym and pool facilities of United Colors of Bali are right there.
O'zarome is now part of the BaliReady Vetted selection.
And with the exclusive 2 complimentary coffees when ordering 2 main courses offer, September is a great time to discover it for yourself.
