The Best Sunset Rooftop in Batu Belig

Thanks to its location on the fifth floor of one of the tallest buildings in Batu Belig, IZZI Rooftop is, in our opinion, the best rooftop sunset spot in the area. Its west-facing position provides beautiful ocean sunset views, making it an ideal place to watch the sky transform as the sun dips below the horizon.

While many visitors first discover IZZI because of its sunset views, what really sets it apart is that it's not somewhere you leave once the sun goes down.

Open every day from 2 PM until 4 AM, with the kitchen serving food until 2:30 AM, IZZI is one of the very few rooftops around Seminyak and Canggu where you can genuinely spend your entire afternoon and evening. Start with sunset drinks, stay for dinner, enjoy a shisha afterwards, challenge your friends on the free PlayStation 5, pick up one of the many board games available, then finish the night with cocktails or shots—all without ever needing to change venues.

The venue also offers both a stylish indoor lounge and an open-air rooftop terrace, making it equally enjoyable whether you prefer air conditioning or soaking up the evening breeze.

Food & Drinks Worth Staying For

One thing we immediately noticed is that IZZI isn't just a rooftop with a nice view. Unlike many rooftop bars where the kitchen feels like an afterthought, IZZI has a fully operational kitchen serving freshly prepared food until 2:30 AM, making it a genuine destination for both dinner and late-night drinks.

Drinks

Whether you're looking for something refreshing in the afternoon or cocktails to kick off the evening, IZZI has an impressive drinks menu. You'll find homemade lemonades, a wide selection of teas served by the pot, local and imported beers including Guinness and Corona, all the classic cocktails, signature creations, and colourful infused rum-based shot flights that are perfect for groups.

Shisha lovers are particularly well catered for. IZZI offers an incredible 212+ shisha flavours, one of the largest selections you'll find in Bali. If you find yourself becoming a regular, it's also worth asking about their Shisha Membership, which offers shareable passes with prices starting from just 99K per shisha, making it excellent value for frequent visitors.

We tried several of their signature cocktails, with the Izzi Bubblegum easily becoming our favourite of the evening. If you're after something alcohol-free, the Mango Passion Homemade Lemonade is another easy recommendation and it's not hard to see why it's one of their crowd favourites.

Food

The food menu is just as extensive, offering everything from finger food and sharing platters to Asian favourites and hearty Western comfort food. Alongside dishes like nasi goreng, sambal matah chicken, burgers, pasta and schnitzel, you'll also find house specialties including home-made pelmeni, traditional borscht, fresh salmon steak, beef stroganoff and plenty more.

During our visit we ordered the fresh salmon, nasi goreng, beef stroganoff and chiburek, and also sampled the fried dumplings. Every dish was excellent, but our standout favourites were definitely the Beef Stroganoff, which was rich, creamy and incredibly satisfying, and the fried dumplings, which were perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining juicy and flavourful inside. We were unfortunately too full to sample the dessert menu, but that's already a good excuse for another visit.
